Why I'm Running
I love Nashville for many reasons--including its diverse cultures, food, and music. But most of all, I love Nashville's people, who make our city strong. I have dedicated myself to a career of working to create an education system that provides equal opportunity to all Tennesseans to learn and gain the skills they need to achieve their full potential. Tennessee is a great place to live, work, and play. But it’s also a state where too few young people leave high school ready for college and good-paying jobs. It’s a state where too few people have health insurance and too many face discrimination because of how they look, where they're from, what they believe, or who they love.
I’m running to represent the 59th District in the Tennessee House of Representatives because we have to all work to make Nashville and Tennessee places where everyone has an equal chance to contribute, grow, and thrive. By working with and on behalf of people in this district, I believe we can move toward having a community with great schools, good jobs, and equal opportunity for all.
I hope to earn your support and your vote, and I hope to work with you for a better Tennessee for everyone who calls it home.
